The object of is to destroy the enemies while trying to avoid their attacks, which consist of bullets and bombs. One of the enemies is also capable of laying an egg which will hatch into another enemy if not destroyed. You also get points for destroying different enemies.

For the lasybones we have a cheat-system, e. g. infinite parachutes, no going-down for the plane, etc.
