Description of FingerCell Standard EDK (Linux Demo)
FingerCell 1.2 Standard EDK is designed for most embedded biometric system developers. This EDK allows integrating FingerCell algorithm into various hardware from handheld devices to PC based servers. Also, multiple software platforms are supported, thus both stand-alone and complex solutions could be developed.
FingerCell 1.2 Standard EDK includes these components:
+ Two FingerCell 1.2 library licenses (one license for PC platform and one license for ARM-based device)
+ LAN License Manager
+ MS Windows drivers for image input from Tacoma CMOS, Startek FM200, AuthenTec AF-S2 and AuthenTec AES4000 fingerprint sensors via USB port
+ Linux user-space drivers for image input from Tacoma CMOS, Startek FM200, AuthenTec AF-S2, AuthenTec AES4000 and Fujitsu MBF200 fingerprint sensors via USB port
+ Source codes for library and EDK usage sample applications
